General Background

Realizing the importance of discussion on changing the perspective of management especially in recent competitive markets, Pokhara University’s Uniglobe College is organizing 7th Uniglobe International Management Conference on “EMERGING TRENDS IN BUSINESS: A CHALLENGE FOR COMPETITIVE MARKETS (UIMC ETBCCM – 2020). In order to address the changing role of managerial decision making in the field of management mainly in the areas of marketing, accounting and finance, human resource management, organizational behaviour, and corporate governance. The conference intends to provide a platform for deliberation over its impact on a wide spectrum of arenas.

This international conference provides opportunities for networking and meeting researchers from various countries. The sightseeing and evening cultural program are the special attractions which provide an opportunity to understand religion, culture and tradition of Nepal.

Call for Papers

Uniglobe College invites papers from academicians, corporate executives, research scholars, business entrepreneurs and students for presentation during International Management Conference on a topic related to the themes and sub-themes. The participants are requested to send the soft copy of their paper in the standardized format as an attachment. The paper should preferably be of about 4000 words or less and preceded by an abstract of around 150 words along with references. The research paper should give details regarding the secondary sources referred to as per the commonly accepted pattern. The papers should be original and should not have been submitted anywhere else for any purpose. The standard and quality papers will be published in
1. Nepalese Journal of Management (ISSN: 2392- 4152),
2. Nepalese Journal of Finance (ISSN: 2392-4144),
3. Nepalese Journal of Business (ISSN: 2392-4780) and
4. Nepalese Journal of Economics (ISSN: 2565-5027) published by Uniglobe College.
Manuscripts should follow the APA style while preparing the papers.

Registration Fees

a) Participants from countries other than South Asia US$ 200 per person.
b) Participants from South Asia (equivalent to Indian) I. Rs. 4,000 per person.
c) Participants from Nepalese organizations N.Rs. 10,000 per person.

The registration fee includes seminar kits, breakfast, lunch, tea /coffee, dinner during conference days, opportunity to present the papers, opportunity to work as Distinguished Guests / Resource Person / Panel Discussant depending upon one’s own interest including opportunity to receive certificates and momentous, opportunity to distribute certificates to participants an opportunity to attend cultural program depicting Nepalese tradition and culture. The participants accompanying their spouse and children should also pay the above registration fee on per person basis, failing which they will not be allowed to enter into seminar premises. The conference also provides the opportunity for the selected senior faculties and executives to deliver one or two guest lectures depending upon their interest and availability.

The registration fee doesn’t include hotel costs of participants. However, the seminar organizer can arrange the hotel on request ranging from simple to higher standard hotels.

The conference will also provide an opportunity to make their university/college known in Nepal by distributing pens, pencils, writing pads or some other similar items with the logo and name of their university or college.

Participants arriving by air and bus will be picked up at the airport/bus stop provided details are available in advance. The delegates are requested to arrive Kathmandu one day before the seminar date. There will be no refund if the participants cancel or cut short their participation.

Once the SWIFT payments are made, the participants are requested to notify the same to Conference Chairperson by email. The participants are also requested to carry a hard copy of bank transfer as proof while attending the conference.

Registration is limited to 25 foreign delegates and the rest is reserved for the Nepalese students, research scholars and faculties. About 1000 participants are expected to participate in this conference.
