I am happy to share some thoughts during a time when our nation is going through big social, political, and economic changes. As we work to uphold important values, developing countries like Nepal still deal with the effects of global economic uncertainty. In these tough times, education must do more than just provide qualifications.

Over the years, I have observed a rising paradox in modern society. We have more degrees, yet less true education; more information, yet weaker judgment; more expertise, yet increasingly complex problems. Material advancement in wealth has not always been matched by our inner growth. We possess more, but often value less. We speak more, but act less. We have learned how to earn a living, but frequently forget how to live a meaningful life.

These contradictions remind us that education must develop not only to earn professional certificates, but also wisdom, perspective, and moral judgment.
