On April 11, 2018, Uniglobe College organized Career Development Workshop to the students of 12th batch of MBA Finance in their 6th trimester. The workshop was mainly conducted by lead HR Consultant, Trainer and Academician Mr. Kumar Joshi. The program was held for 3 days, started from April 11 to April 21, 2018.
The major objective of the program is to prepare students for selection phase job placement or the job market. The program was focused on CV/Resume Writing, Group discussion, and Interview. The workshop was provided with the practical approach to learning with the real situation. From the workshop, students gain so much knowledge about the real job market scenario in Nepal. The workshop was conducted in three phases. On 11th April 2018, the first phase of the workshop was conducted by Mr. Kumar Joshi. Mr. Joshi firstly introduces the job market of Nepal. According to him, all the industries (like Banking, Manufacturing and so on.) of Nepal are developing rapidly. For the development of industries, they will require the huge number of skilled manpower. Thus, the demand for manpower in Nepalese job market is increasing rapidly. Students/ freshers have ample of opportunities in today’s job market of Nepal.
On 21st April 2018, Mock Interview session was conducted. In this session expert from human resource department of different industries were invited to take the interview. Mrs. Nilima Sherestha, Human Resource Department officer of Premier Insurance Co. Ltd., Mr. Niraj Sharma, Human Resource Manager of NMB Bank and Mr. Tanka Prasad Bhattarai, Vice President- HR and Admin of Shankar Group along with executive staff of Uniglobe College take interview of the students to provide the students with the real interview scenario.
In the closing ceremony certificates were distributed to all the participants. Mr. Kumar Joshi, Mrs. Nilima Sherestha, Mr. Niraj Sharma and Mr. Tanka Prasad Bhattarai distributed the certificates to the students. Mr. Ashish Kumar Mishra thanked both the trainers of the program and their valuable contribution on imparting practical knowledge.
